Obama infamously launched the mission in Syria pledging there would be no "boots on the ground." This proved to be a deception. US troops, wearing boots, were killed. But somehow *that* was never a scandal -- *removing* the troops is the scandal. Pathological.

People opposed to military action/operations should not be expected to prove that abstaining from military action will have no adverse consequences.

Making a highly complex decision in a very dangerous area unilaterally, recklessly, and by tweet IS a scandal. And if this really is the best US move, the "deal-maker" could have prepped & strategized with allies/Pent. then put it on the table as part of a post-war agreement.

When Obama said there would be "no boots on the ground" in Syria, he meant the parties that supported the military operation had secured commitments from #CorporateMedia not to report on the operations.

@BarackObama presidency was a disaster let’s be honest. Wall Street bailout on steroids, inequality in US acute, ushered in the age of @realDonaldTrump, censured whistleblowers, destroyed a once thriving African economy #Libya now awash with jihadis #syria about time troops left.

War has become a subscription based revenue model. It's become a utility in the US economy. Therefore it must be maintained.

You do realize that Daesh is not defeated? This move will alienate regional allies and encourage those who seek the destruction of Israel. Are you hoping to see Global Thermonuclear War? It will certainly deal with global warming and the human infestation of the planet.

Memories are long when it comes to what Obama did but short about what necessitated the actions. Like Assad gassing his own people. Like Turkey's plan to eliminate the Kurds, who were fighting for the people getting gassed. I want our troops home too. Just want a better plan.

the initial response came after 2 Sarin gas attacks that were never conclusively linked to Assad, after analysis on the rockets and comparing the sample with assads stockpile. Kind of important considering rebels also used gas

Nobody knew there were boots on the ground in Niger either before ISIS released the video from soldier's own camera that ended with him lying in a pool of his own blood after getting finished off with a few headshots.
