The very existence of "loyalty oaths" requiring American public employees to swear fidelity to Israel is absolutely insanehttps://theintercept.com/2018/12/17/israel-texas-anti-bds-law/ …

It’s just as insane that the Dem party insists their state & national Committee members are held to unwritten loyalty pledge.

If things ever work out for me and I have great success and if I open a office in the USA I will demand all my US employees to swear loyalty to the Queen of England and declare them selves loyalists.

It's disturbing and disgusting. Good for her for standing up to it. She could have signed it and quietly still done BDS but she did the right thing and stood up for her rights. #BoycottIsrael #BDS #ApartheidIsrael

That should be the headline. The policy, not her refusal. "SHOCKING FREE SPEECH INFEINGEMENT: Texas public school district seeks to bar employees from even advocating specific political activities, with language that could actually require some purchases."

A loyalty oath in any other country on the planet would be loudly and harshly condemned by our preening media talking heads.

That's not accurate. She is a private contractor. Texas doesn't give public funds or contracts to BDS entities. Agree or disagree with contracting laws for private employees, but the idea it is a loyalty oath is inaccurate. https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/85R/billtext/html/HB00089I.htm …

I love that country (due to my travels there), and think it's an insanely unenforceable abuse of power. If you sign the document for other reasons, you just can't be held to the parts that are legally unenforceable.
