  First saw this in Bloomberg's 2004 Repub convention policing by 'his army.' People were 'kettled' and netted (plastic construction netting) and carted off to a make shift pier jail for the days of the convention. He's supposedly a Dem now.

  Perhaps. It depends on what the protesters are doing. If peaceful, then thats one thing. Cool! But if the protesters are doing what they did at Berkeley for Milo, well then that's domestic terrorism and I want to see my tax dollars at work. CLUB & MACE THEM.

  Was thinking the same – I'm in Ukraine and our 2013 uprising was depicted very favourably in W media. Sure, no burning cars/looted shops (until shootings began), but still contrast is stark.
