I haven’t followed your writings, so I’m not judging your position. Others are retreating to this take—and my background makes it hard for me to believe that anyone could receive such inquiries and approaches from Russians and *not* call the FBI.

I don't think the Trump Organization -- unlike, say, the intelligence community -- was a culture where dealings with Russians was regarded as inherently suspicious. Their dealings with everyone were sleazy (as real estate tends to be) so nothing stood out about Russians.
