"Bernie can't win the nomination because Democrats don't like him" is a talking point you're going to hear more and more from establishment dead-enders, and please be aware that it's empirically, verifiably false. A supermajority of Democrats express a favorable view of Sanderspic.twitter.com/EBm89tKrWd

For that matter his favorability rating among independents and even Republicans is notably high. This first became evident during the 2016 primaries, lending credence to the view that he was the strongest candidate against Trump, and it was denied or downplayed by the dead-enders

He can run for the nomination. He can win or lose. He lost last time. Prevailing logic is HRC lost so she should never run again. Why does this not apply to Sanders?

And I know you’ll trot out the tired “but only REGISTERED DEMOCRATS could vote in the primaries.” Notwithstanding the fact it’s easy to change your registration, and that even if you do you’re not bound by it to vote in any way, why should non-Democrats get a primary vote?

because we should want to nominate someone who has appeal to independents. The general election is an open primary ;)

Even better ... independents like him...something the establishment corporate Democrats will try to paint as negative... but independents liking you is important in the election for president contrary to the corporate Democrats strategy

The Dem primaries were a disgrace in 2016. The Reps were spot on in exit polls Dems were off 6%-23%, The Un calls 2% election fraud.
