Strident (and early) denunciation of US support for the immiseration of Yemen ought to be a moral litmus test for 2020 Democratic candidates. The heinousness was obvious long ago, and if you failed to recognize that in 2015-2017, you lack sound judgment and should be disqualified

Not "sound judgement". Henry Kissinger has sound judgement. "Moral integrity".

I’d like it to be a litmus year for all candidates but sadly I can’t think of anyone who’d fit the bill

Why is the conflict in Yemen always framed as Saudi Arabia woke up one day and decided to bomb the heck out of Yemen for the fun of it? There would be no war there if the Houthi hadn't launched an attack and attempted to take over the country. Yet Western media ignores this.

Somehow, I doubt that will be an issue in 2020. Both parties are the hawk now. One advantage of starting the globohomo-race war is that it overshadows less interesting, dirty, 3rd world wars.

Who besides Gabbard? The Democrats hate her, and of course the left wing of the Israel Lobby really despises her too.
