It's leftists who are the infants. All the energy about
@LouisFarrakhan & the like from the right is just retaliatory. Leftists have never liked free speech. They don't even like words to have meaning at all.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I'm generally of the opinion that this is tied to a breakdown in communication/conflict resolution skills. We don't know how to negotiate terms of coexistence with the outgroup anymore, so they have to be eliminated!

There is an ignore button for a reason. It has always been there in every chat or medium. You don't want to engage with someone, ignore them. Simple as that. But people prefer to whine, play the victim card and force the companies to exert more control.

W/all its many faults, twitter has served to bring independent thought out into the public domain. Albeit, a lot of garbage & disinfo trolls too. Now w/this
#sanitizing effort the whole point isn’t really to protect us from the offensive A Jones, it’s to control/manage our info.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

But perhaps it is still too early to label them "illiberal techno fascists"? But techno-apparatchik or corporate apparatchik are terms that seem appropriate considering the controversy lately.

So many people have emotionally-based thought processes. They are unable to see the bigger picture. They are also easily manipulated. PC is a prime example of this. The result is that our world becomes increasingly ridiculous.pic.twitter.com/oDayCuLmFD

I didn't last long as a moderator on a message board because I couldn't be arsed to officiate between squabbling adults. Without wishing to take sides in a debate I don't fully understand, it does seem people are being punished for reasonable views.

I find it hard to care that conservatives are being silenced after fighting against protections for so long. You gave corporations more power because government bad, now you are upset because they are using their power exactly like we said they would.pic.twitter.com/GeN50v80Cr

This is an image that conservatives use to criticize their libertarian faction that mindlessly trusts "the free market." The anti censorship left is still being entirely ignored by the pro censorship contingent. Left and right don't really give constructive criticism to eachother
