Fair, but it’s far from unanimity. Dem lawmakers have long been criticizing Amazon for its poor working conditions. Those two officials rarely agree, but have the most to gain from the long term tax revenue that the deal will generate for infrastructure needs (namely MTA).

Under Obama companies like Amazon have exploded. They did nothing to curtail their growth. In the 2000's companies like Wal-Mart were attacked endlessly by liberal-leaning people. They don't say a peep about Amazon. Amazon is far worse than Wal-Mart ever was. It's politcal.

And those same "outraged Democrats" voted for the very leadership that setup this massive $3 billion corporate giveaway to Amazon. Complicity in a giveaway requires a lot of exposure.
