Jim Acosta was deprived access to the exclusive White House journo-club for a few days, Julian Assange is locked in a tiny embassy for 6+ years and now faces criminal prosecution by the most powerful government in world history. Guess who the media treats as a bigger martyr

Probably not the guy who ran a stateless intelligence agency aligned with the Kremlin.

Our military budget is 10x larger than Russia, and that doesn’t include intelligence spending. Our military budget was increased this past go around by more than they spend in an entire year. The Kremlin is hardly any threat.

Here in Australia, Assange is relegated to a text ticker at the bottom of the screen, while Jim Acosta story is getting analysis updates every half hour. Is utterly shameful. No wonder the masses are completely mis- or under-informed about Assange.

He's not locked in there. He went there after multiple courts upheld his extradition to Sweden, the country he fled after multiple women accused him of sex crimes.

He's not locked in, that's accurate but don't you understand Julian is only trying to avoid Sweden which is the Saudi Arabia of feminist thought? I mean the poor man fell into a hornets' nest of revolutionary feminism, what could he do?

CNN was/is always free to send the next journalist waiting in line to take Acosta's place at the WH to ask the same exact tough questions. While there are hundreds of Acosta clones at CNN, there is only ONE Assange at Wikileaks.

Assange is willing to mass publish secret documents without editing. How does that make him a journalist? Even if you like him, he doesn't seem irreplaceable.

The amount of people on here just mindlessly saying Assange is a Russian asset, without any evidence, just they they trust their government wholeheartedly.. it's sad

And one journalist was killed by the Saudi''s but the millions of Yemeni's being killed or starved to death don't rate a mention, or the hundreds the Saudi's behead every year and the west keep selling them billions in arms to kill more Yemenis' with.

They leak what's given to them. This reasoning makes no sense. And do you really need GOP corruption being leaked? It's done right out in the open
