It's bad enough you've been peddling this for days in tweet after tweet, citing the same article over and over. Now you put together your own article, citing that same article. Talk about milking it. #lazy

When Kavanaugh says that they all said "it didn't happen", that is obviously (to almost everyone but you) shorthand for "they don't corroborate it." Even if they HAD said those exact words, "it didn't happen," it wouldn't make any sense because no one can prove a negative.

Despite all of the evidence available to assess qualifications and professional conduct, Kavanaugh should be disqualified because he claimed four witnesses said it didn’t happen instead of saying the four witnesses didn’t say it happened? And you are not biased?

“All four witnesses who were allegedly at the event have said it didn’t happen, including Dr. Ford’s longtime friend, Ms. Keyser.” Just to play the devil advocate, is it conceivable that “it “ doesn’t refer to “the event” but to the allegation Kavanaugh participated?
-
I may be totally off line here but I was left with the impression Kavanaugh did not deny something happened to Ford but vehemently denied he had anything to do with it. I need to watch again.

Good stuff, Michael. I would challenge the idea that one can deceive or mislead without intending to do so. Intention seems built into the concepts. Making a false statement w/o intending to do so (e.g. through faulty memory) is NOT a form of deception - it's an honest mistake.

After all those stipulations I thought you’d say, and soon the Republicans will employ similar partisan tactics for their own party ends once out of power.
-
Partisans don’t give af about lies or inconsistencies. Once the other team starts the ball rolling with scorched earth tactics, the gloves come off and its a fight til the end irrespective of facts.

So the case that he lied is that he stated all four witnesses said it didn't happen, when in fact what they really said was that they had no idea what Dr. Ford was talking about? Is that pretty much it?

I fling rocks at you, and whilst dodging them you step onto grass with a sign saying “please don’t step on the grass”. Now I give up on the rocks (wasn’t working anyway) and sue you for trespassing. Are you part of this circus too?

Sounds like a Yanny or Laurel debate, Libs will read your article and see a thread to pull, righties will just laugh at your nitpick fest.
