There is not ample evidence to conclude that Kavanaugh is guilty of assault. There *is* ample evidence to conclude that Kavanaugh is guilty of making multiple false statements under oath. It's amazing how many people refuse to accept this distinction.

Unless something wholly disqualifying turns up between now and Friday, Kavanaugh must be confirmed. Whatever "not perjury" you think you heard is meaningless. Uncorroborated, decades-old accusations from your teen years can NOT be allowed to be used as a political weapon.

Kavanaugh’s a pathological liar: like HRC. Doubt it’s coincidence that both feel entitled to a position based upon nearly identical credentials & decades of fealty to power+money. Your unfollowers most likely in denial of this.

That’s basically where I’m at. I have no problem with his jurisprudence, but have a problem with his lying under oath. And it doesn’t “get at credibility” w/r/t other accusations, as even lefty journos keep saying, it gets at *lying under oath*, a felony.
-
Like, people keep rehashing things he may or may not have done 35 years ago when it’s likely he literally committed a felony *last week* with millions of people watching.

> disagree with his appointment on judicial philosophy grounds You're letting that opinion cloud your judgement in your coverage of this confirmation process.

Let it go already. How many times can you tweet the same thing?! We get it, you think he lied under oath, which is merely an opinion and not a provable fact. Good for you.
