Christ almighty. His testimony in the previous paragraph is about how he attended parties with friends where they drank. Obviously by “like this” he could mean “where felonies happen” or where “Leland way present” all that wouldhttps://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1046530250627256321 …

Why rip it out of the context of the preceding paragraphs and then constrain it’s meaning to something obviously absurd?

The preceding paragraphs' context doesn't alter the meaning. There is no way to more fully reflect what he claimed in this statement. As a highly accomplished lawyer testifying under oath, he knows how finely things are parsed in these settings.pic.twitter.com/LPUrPnhggT

No it can’t. Robinson just pretends “like the one” Ford described must equal “like the ones Kavanaugh describes” in his preceding paragraphs of testimony. Thats’s silly.

That article is a mixed bag. Some good points, some BS. Not to mention Ford was never asked any serious questions of that nature. Imagine if we opened up her yearbook and probed her on how many guys she slept with and if she was a drunk, etc. We could write that article too.

Not a fan of Dems these days but he did seem intent on creating a false dilemma. That he was an exceptional, hardworking student/athlete does not preclude the possibility that he also got drunk & did horrible things on occasion. He's too smart not to recognize the fallacy.
