This intensive Talmudic analysis of Kavanaugh’s yearbook references is getting bizarre. Slang terms evolve, teenage inside jokes are often multi-layered and inscrutable to outsiders: just seems like a really trivial fixation when there are so many legitimate reasons to oppose him

It’s being really silly to pretend being the “alumni” of a girl meant they were friends. And honestly most of those terms have very agreed upon meanings. I don’t believe you’re correct. Kavanaugh and his friends would have to be untouched by pop culture

He could’ve taken a pop culture term, twisted and contorted it, and layered it with meaning specific to his particular friend group. This happens all the time, always.
