You really buy the college professor speaking in a little girl voice, trembling about being too afraid to fly on airplanes? You find this credible? I disagree, although that may be my own bias, as I like Kavanaugh's philosophy -- IMO he'd be the best mind on the court.

It’s like you’re trying to apply logic to defuse a tense situation, why would you do that?

Yes, but the longterm consequence of Kavanaugh is an overturning of sexual norms.

From an academic perspective, sure- that wouldn’t stop his confirmation. If Kavanaugh is guilty of the crimes he’s been accused of, there’s no way he’ll be confirmed. In fact, every last Republican would vote against his confirmation, and the nomination might even be rescinded.

Why oppose him when you simply disagree?: his position is scholarly and reasonable. You just don't like it. That's not "more" tenable.

You have a point. Except for his total lack of judicial temperament, his blatant bias and his lying. Oh and it sure seems like he’s guilty too. How else do you explain his aversion to an fbi Investigation?

He seemed to be lying about everything, large and small. Just came across her having a lot of familial and professional CIA connections, though, which was the first thing that made go “hmm...”
