Kavanaugh just said polygraph tests are "not reliable" (which is true) but also said in a written court opinion two years ago that they're "an important law enforcement tool," presumably implying reliability. Blatant self-serving contradiction.

Yeah...they can be a useful "tool" for law enforcement when running an investigating. (E.g. pressuring a POI or suspect.) But they are NOT reliable evidence. Those two things are not contradictory.

Any references to "polygraph tests" - are just red herrings - as there is NO SUCH THING AS a "lie detector test" - and the employment of such "tests" is just a PR STUNT - as they have ZERO actual evidentiary value.
