It's hard to win primaries when the establishment machine purges voter rolls. Even @NomikiKonst was purged in NY.

You honestly think they stopped rigging elections after 2016? It’s a joke for anyone to believe these are honest results. I have the data from the 2016 Dem primary if you ever want to see it. It will blow your mind as to how bad the election fraud was and they got away with it.

Dems in NY think they had a victory ousting IDC state senators are in for a shock in Nov when they flip red. IDC had support from independents/ swing voters who will now go red. I know a lot of lifelong dems telling me they are voting red for governor. Maybe me too.

Hi, I live in a former IDC district. It has been solidly Democratic for decades. The last time a non-IDC candidate ran this is what it looked like. He is now our Congressman. Dems often run unopposed in the general here. Similar in the other districts where IDCers were ousted.pic.twitter.com/khjE7ITYq8

The Koch brothers learned long ago to infiltrate and influence state and local elections which would then, in turn, build into national politics. This did not happen overnight. And neither will progressive influence. They are called grassroots movements for a reason.

It’s crucial to point out that the left is involved in more localized battles that do not arise like a genie when you rub the ballot box. The real resistance is movement building. This takes time. Organizing. Effort. Community building. Infrastructure. Coalition work. Etc.

It’s also important to note that there’s been a 60% surge in primary voting this year and incumbents like Cuomo had to spend twice as much to keep their jobs. Looking narrowly at the outcome misses the impact of a cannonball fired across a bow. A few degrees lower and...BOOM!

You guys have been Demexiting for nearly two years and still hanging around. The problem is you are leaving the party but you can't convince anyone to come with you. Hence what you have isn't a party.

Are you talking about all those incumbent Senators that rushed to embrace Medicare for All and other progressives polices? Also the list of incumbent Dem Govenors is sadly short and now there are several progressive insurgents poised to oust Republicans...pic.twitter.com/zYukwNTCeB

Many states have top two primaries, so it's not over. De Leon could beat Feinstein.

Michael do you see no difference between progressives and radicals losing with 3 or 4% of the vote in primaries (10 years ago) and then suddenly losing with 30-40% of the vote with a handful making it over the top? The trend in support is being highlighted here.
