That seemed like a funeral not so much for McCain, but for an ideology which had once sustained America's imperial hegemony, and is now on the way out.

■■■ Does it bother you that reporters who were harsh and insulting toward McCain and Palin during the 2008 election are suddenly slobbering on McCain's coffin? I wonder if Swamp is too kind of word to describe this hypocrisy?

Astute point. Trump is dismantling the world the Globalist Elite built. For most Americans this is a great thing, but for the Globalist elite ... it is troubling indeed. #MAGA means making America great for all Americans, not just the Globalist elite.

There exists a scary reality about which it's best for normal folk who value remaining so, to remain under the radar. As in good instructions to folks from the future, trapped in a time, "go find a quiet place and stay out of History". Trump can fight the evil power, most can't.pic.twitter.com/obn5rua0UJ

Ironic that para 5 of Paine's 1776 Common Sense was soon abandoned by USGov: " We fight neither for revenge nor conquest; neither from pride nor passion; we are not insulting the world with our fleets and armies, nor ravaging the globe for plunder. .." https://www.bartleby.com/133/6.html

"Beneath the shade of our own vines are we attacked; in our own houses, and on our own lands, is the violence committed against us." The lands & houses of ppls w/ the borders of US itself have not been attacked since those days of revolt against Britain, USGov's ancestor empire.

I like Paine was specifically referring to attack by foreign entities, as those in his day considered Britain, no longer the mother country. Yes, USGov laws/regs/etc target those w/in the borders, but are ignorable except for the many willing domestic Gov/StateEnforcers.

Whatever schemes used by Gov/State does not change fact that it is coercion-based, via the many willing domestic & Military Enforcers. Maybe once necessary for social order, coercion-basis no longer is in INet age. Alt principls thmbnail for goal society: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sqcjnl

#JohnMcCain's role within the U.S. Establishment was that of a henchman, an arms salesman & war-maker embedded in government. His posthumous elevation to royalty exposes a systemic level of corruption in media & body politic that resembles something like a mafia State.
