The media should've been up in arms about 'expansive prosecutorial power' the MOMENT RICO laws were used by prosecutors and law enforcement for things like 'civillian asset forfeiture' against everyday citizens.

It’s not a news outlet and they weren’t asked to reveal confidential sources. They engaged in a felonious conspiracy—not to share information with the public (the point of the 1st amendment) but to hide information from the public.
