Reminder: neither candidate was asked for their position on Yemen throughout the entire 2016 presidential campaign. It went on for 1.5 years, but not a single question. The atrocities continue in part due to this unforgivable media failurehttps://medium.com/mtracey/our-despicable-media-never-once-asked-either-candidate-about-yemen-14d6f7476d9f …

Another reason our 2 party system fails. If guilty of something yourself, you cant point the finger at the other guy. Hence why on issues like perpetual war, spying on American citizens, & horrible foreign policies, both D & R agree to ignore the subjects.

Very good indictment of our media. We need independent media that focus on real issues and treat all politicians with hard nosed skepticism. If they don’t this, they really are “the enemy of the people”.

They have had some sad hooker to go on and on about and now some girl that will say mean things she got off democrat underground to make a buck. That’s far more important than actual reporting.

The people not reporting on the killing of woman and children in Yemen, are as guilty as the killers.

They did find the time to spend half a news cycle lampooning the non-interventionist 3rd party candidate for not knowing of an obscure Syrian city, though.

UK media rarely touches Yemen either, i'm guessing it has a lot to do with our doing arms deals with the saudis.
