I used to have a principle opposition to blocking, but unfortunately have increasingly adopted it... sparingly. Only when people are outright, completely worthless trolls

I agree that it's often misused. But at a certain point you have to say to yourself: I only have finite mental energies, and expending them on enduring trolls is a waste
