My observations on Alex Jones have gotten an unusually enormous amount of response over the past day and half. Clearly this topic is, how would you put it, "hot" and there's lots to be figured out/debated. Interesting times ahead

One thing about Alex Jones. You guys in the nontraditional media, sometimes you know what's going on. You just sense it, and you could almost bet the farm on it. But you don't have the proof, so you hold back. Alex Jones puts it out there, and that's where he gets in trouble.

You don't seem to have proposed any fixes to the problem you are so worried about. I wonder why.

The inability of people to extract a principle from a specific fact scenario is depressing. 4thA? Gone bc we don’t like terrorists. 5thA? We don’t like pedophiles. Democratic elections? Not if the people pick Trump. Free Press? Screw Alex (or Julian).

Excellent explication of the key issue. We should think twice before according such powers to corporations. Consequences will surely be highly disappointing.https://twitter.com/bansisharma/status/1026832243443097600?s=19 …

The issue isn't the desirability or otherwise of InfoWars content. The issue is, so long as the content is legal, no matter how unhinged, who should be the arbiter of blocking/eliminating/suppressing it? a) Consumers acting freely in a free market b) Government c) Corporations

And let's remember that the main reason GOVT-oversight is preferable is that "govt oversight" shd="popular oversight". If it is not LAW-BOUND &TRANSPARENT it won't be worth a damn (like the "oversight" Congress is alleged to exercise over the FBI, shown now to be a mere circus.)
