Whether you hate Alex Jones is beside the point. Do you love the fact a handful of tech monopolists have the power to simultaneously purge him from the internet?

Maybe because it’s a correct one dummy

Wow, calling people dummies online sounds like a great use of time. Enjoy

It's not a tedious point. It's a correct one. Do you think of a internet company reaches a certain threshold then they should lose their right of association and be forced to host people and material if they don't want?

He has a perfectly valid point. Your tweet said he had been "purged from the interent". In fact he has been removed from a few social media sites for violating their rules of conduct repeatedly. Not the same.

It is only tedious because it doesn't fit your narrative. You asked the question and wonder why you get hundreds of legitimate yet related thoughts.

Get used to it! Tech monopolies will do whatever they want. Net Neutrality .is gone-remember? So if FB gets offered enough money or if a person wants to pay they can get all the "free" speech they can afford. GOP wanted NetNeut-you got it, now pay for it.

hahaha. some of us call for deplatforming because it has tangible effects and that's the point of the tactic. at least i'm honest about it. ;)

Tedious, because you can’t really respond to it. The difference between social media and “the internet” is who owns the server. It’s not very complicated.

How to set up a website: a guide for the alt-right https://www.brucelawson.co.uk/2018/how-to-set-up-a-website-a-guide-for-the-alt-right/ … I've written a guide on how to set up a website independently of Facebook and YouTube, as a service to those alt-right folks who don't understand the web

I remember when AOL was Internet for most people & it was huge awakening when they realized a browser escaped it. I also remember how many were conditioned to stay inside walled garden & resisted going outside of their comfort zone pen. We're going backwards to that shit again.pic.twitter.com/T1XoQgmVbE

Your terrible hot take doesn't negate his original point.

Calling it a tedious point doesn't change the fact that it's completely accurate. What was completely inaccurate was calling it a "purge". It's also completely inaccurate to say "his audience was just obliterated." No. It wasn't.

It's not nitpicking, it's a fact. He can still say what he wants. He has no inherent right to say so on anyone else's platform - especially when he's breaching their terms of use. The size of the platform is irrelevant to that core argument.
