Companies getting to decide who they want to do biz w/ isn't a political view. It's just how business works. Companies end partnerships every day. Do you think a co. like Apple should be forced to carry Jones' content? Do you understand implications of that for, say, a Sinclair?

I'd read that last part as an indictment of the dystopian corporate nightmare were living in. It hadn't occured to me that 'corporations can do what they want's could be meant neutrally, or even positively.

I think there is a reasonable arguement that Alex should expect fair treatment and certainly not discrimination from them. He perhaps even contributed to the popularity of the platform as well.
