That's essentially the reason Facebook gives for the ban: "glorifying violence" and "using dehumanizing language." You can use whatever stronger words you want to denounce Jones, but that's what it boils down to: objectionable political content

It hasn’t assumed new powers—it always had them. Perhaps it has newly exercised powers, but that is quite a different thing. We need to stop treating Facebook, Google et al as saviors or sovereigns—they’re private companies. We expect too much & too little of them simultaneously.

It's not so clear cut. The fact that Jones has influence on the President gives him some measure of power. Call it political content if you like and I agree that should be protected, but hateful speech coupled with power is where we should draw the line.

Maybe we should just get rid of Face Book altogether. Even though Infowars/ Alex Jones is crazy, the root of the problem is the mass surveillance powers of FB.
