Trump might be using the term "globalist" more lately, but an under-developed, instinctual aversion to multilateral agreements isn't the paradigm shift some want to believe. If anything he's enriched corporate "globalists" with tax cuts, thereby enhancing their political power

It's the same cut a ton of mid-size and small business got along with a lot of red tape cutting. Just because they benefited also doesn't mean they were the sole target. Add in repatriation of funds and it was a widespread business win. Tying this to globalism is a stretch.

I didn't say they were the sole target. I said they were enriched and thus their political power was enhanced. As even Trump himself acknowledged, "globalists" like the Kochs profited enormously from the signature legislative initiative of his first year in office

Pres. Trump wants fair trade in which the US negotiates much less lopsided deals with other nations, such as total elimination of all tariffs in BOTH directions, not just one direction. @Scaramucci has discussed it.

He is also enriching me a middle class American businessman increasing my power as well. I think that is a good thing for me and for America as well.

Authoritarian capitalism with fascist instincts. I don’t think he’s fascist but helping the mvmt, empire toward this end. I think he’s between authoritarian conservative to radical right with fascist instincts.

(nods) the way I understand how his supposedly isolationist tariffs work is that they're an attack on industries that have governmental backing, like Canadian dairy, or Chinese manufacturing.
