Chuck Todd was a working adult journalist during the Iraq War. To *still* have zero awareness of the media’s role in “causing” that fiasco is a mark of true delusionhttps://twitter.com/chucktodd/status/1026081978842603522 …

You can still practice journalism without regarding yourself as a member of this professional class. In fact, maintaining that detachment usually produces better journalism (and analysis)

Chuck Todd is not a journalist, nor did he ever graduate from college. IIRC he got his job because his wife has connections. He reads what his bosses put on the teleprompter and I find it easy to see he rarely knows what he's talking about.

"TV star" is exactly right. We need to stop calling Todd and his ilk "journalists"

Trump is waging a propaganda war against the media to discredit factual reporting that highlights very real corrupt behaviour that he has participated in. The fact that you attack Chuck Todd instead of condemning Trump is a testament to how your missing the forest for the trees

Don’t they have to be “Professional” to be part of the “professional class” or is this a participation trophy sort of career?
