As the national farce deepens, stuff like this -- which once might've been mildly amusing -- is now just completely bleakhttps://twitter.com/ABC/status/1024689044419047425 …

How weak does your society have to be to be taken out by a Gawd D*mn MEME? **as she pours another drink**

Now see, if he was talking about global warming, he would be 100% right. We are sitting in a burning room (worse, a burning room w/nowhere else to go) acting like nothing is wrong. But people freak out over imagined Russian stuff. A huge chunk of humanity is going insane.

Kids, there was a time when claiming a 70 year old grandma curbed stomped you would cause shame. We’re in a different place I suppose.pic.twitter.com/z5A0Fy6k8j

I find it unintentionally funny and incredibly ironic with a twist of lack of self awareness. Though yes I could see how completely bleak fits too.

This is what the world has come to, politicians using internet memes to strengthen their arguments. Why did we let things get this bad?

Meanwhile, Trump stacks the courts with young conservative originalists, judges hardwired to interpret laws in accord with late 18th Century constitutional thinking, when the Bourbons were still kings and powdered wigs were hip. They will wreak havoc for decades. Bleak

I'm convinced that the endgame of all this Muh Russia!/DNC Wuz Hacked! nonsense will be the imposition of Communist China style control over the internet in the USA. We can't have foreigners hacking our democracy, after all!https://twitter.com/ABC/status/1024689044419047425 …
