Wow the exact same take as Russian state media! Who’d have thunk it?

I’m still trying to figure out why
@KatzOnEarth is criticising@mytracey and Russian media for focusing on global life and death issues rather than parochial issues. Have I slipped into a parallel universe where the trivial supersedes questions of mortality? -
Oh, because this strange private meeting wasn't about the "life and death issues" you're talking about (eg Ukraine and Syria) and there's no reason to think there was. Nor is there any reason to think there was progress made on either of them, or even could be in this setting.
-
You seem very sure of what was and was not discussed considering you weren’t in there and don’t have a clue. What else would Russian and US presidents have to talk about at this time except the theatres of war where the Cold War could become hot?
-
The potential topics are unlimited. We have no idea what they talked about because in an undemocratic (yet Putinesque) move, no one else was even allowed in the room. So to try to dunk on someone by claiming they're ignoring the substance of the meeting is really dumb.
-
Dunking on someone that their thinking is framed by Russian media because it confirms a bias you have about him = even dumber
-
No, not at all. It points out that his framing is exactly the same as the framing of the Russian media at the press conference. And it is. That's just true. That's why you're so upset, flailing around, looking for other things to talk about.

To be fair , whether the most important event every four years to determine the fate of their country was influenced by outsiders should be of more importance than the state of Syria or Ukraine to the American People
-
did it change the votes, did it change the outcome, did it say Hilary should not go to wisconsin, michigan. Yes Russia tried to influence through ads. but did not affect the electoral process.
-
Of course if an armed robbery comes into our house , tries to steal even attack people as long as he didn't steal anything its all right. Even your fellow Republicans are not happy calling it disgusting.
-
did the Russians influence the votes, the electoral process or the outcome?
-
An attempt was made, how is that not a problem.and then internationally dismiss your intelligence report. He is even trying to play damage control
-
the same intelligence said iraq has WMDs
-
You just said they tried now you are saying they might be wrong. A Guffaw is a Guffaw admit it, he is not God that can do no wrong

I've noticed this as well. I've read maybe a half dozen MSM articles about this summit and haven't been able to learn anything of consequence regarding the actual content of the meeting. Nothing but garbage journalism, propaganda, gossip.
-
Let me help you since clearly you do not read. PRIVATE MEETING.
-
Yeah no shit but there's still some room for analysis of the underlying issues. Instead all you get is rehashing of Russiagate, the fact that the meeting took place a few days after the Mueller indictments, etc.
