And “benevolent?” These thefts of data altered the fucking ELECTION. Thefts by a hostile foreign government with aims to install (or at least aid) a quisling candidate. But that’s okay with

The best part is that
@mtracey is giving the same justification that Putin gave mere days ago. It's so wonderful I could ascend, leaving behind only empty clothes.

Would Dems still be playing Chicken Little if the leaks had happened to a candidate who wasn’t a two-faced corporate stooge and revealed no inconsistencies with their public comments? The leaks hurt because Hillary has a closet stuffed with skeletons.

Maybe this makes sense, if they also released the hacked Republican info. We know they hacked both but the strategic release of only one party’s info shows not transparency or exposing corruption, but instead a clear interference in our election to favor one candidate.

Consider also that Hillary campaigned actively on a ‘Trump is Putin-puppet’ platform. And yet, despite her near non-stop claims of puppetry, still the voters were just not all that into her.

According to this logic, no one should be able to have private email or even possess trade secrets. Afterall, the spreading of this benevolent information to all helps us all!
