Michael, do you still believe, as argued in 2016, that there is no reason to prefer Clinton to Trump?

I did not argue that there's "no reason to prefer Clinton to Trump." In fact, I said there were multiple legitimate reasons to prefer Clinton to Trump. Nonetheless, I'm perfectly comfortable with my own position, which was opposition to both candidates

It is much more comforting to scream traitor for a crushing defeat than to actually take own up to it. Most of these people were largely Twitter warriors. I doubt many of them phone banked, canvassed or did anything actually worthwhile during the election campaign.

That’s what I believe. All they did was harass and voter shame. I asked them to name me five reasons to vote for her and they never answered me.

It's hard for some of them to stop believing that, because they're paid to believe it (i.e. Sally Albright). The whole system that devised that narrative needs help.

The source is Donald Trump. Susan Sarandon just aided and abetted him during the campaign. I'm guessing you did too

Susan Sarandon isn’t what ails our politics. Anyone implying that this what people literally mean is just being an ass. She’s more like a mascot for some of the stupidity that ails our side tho.
