Not to be a debbie downer, but everyone who's invested in this Ocasio-Cortez/Crowley race has set themselves up for disappointment. Power of incumbency and party machinery are just too insurmountable in that district. Happy to be proven wrong, but I highly doubt it

Sorry - was there a reason for this, besides depressing the vote for Ocasio-Cortez? Doesn’t she have enough of an uphill climb on her own, without you adding to it? Generally I’m in your corner – but WTF is the reason for this post?

The reason was simply to point out electoral realities within an ossified political structure. I doubt anyone is going to vote or not vote based on this tweet.

Not vote against her – but stay home b/c what’s the use? It feels was like what the NY DNC did in the 2016 primary – screwed with
@SenSanders supporters to discourage them, so Hillary would win the state. It doesn’t take much to change a Primary’s results, as you must know...2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Again, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from voting. Just trying to maintain some depressive realism.
