While I agree there is certainly media bias & hysteria, & some is certainly based on the nature of our President, I think you have to at least consider there may be an honestly held belief that there is a greater harm being visited on these children that warrants extra attention

And by the way: I hate the over-assertion of whataboutism. But when you use the outcome of a materially different Obama policy to suggest that the reaction to Trump’s policy is hypocritical, I’m not sure how else to describe that. Unless you genuinely don’t see the difference
