Criticizing Trump for being too diplomatic and conciliatory is one of the weirdest liberal trendshttps://twitter.com/dandrezner/status/1000836941154316289 …

Part of me is embarrassed the president of the United States extols Kim like this. Part of me marvels at how Trump’s complete lack of shame lets him try crap like this. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1000831304836018176 …

It’s interesting how infrequently the “Trump wrongly slathers authoritarians with praise” thesis is applied when it comes to his abiding admiration for Netanyahu. That one just kind of gets carved out as some mysterious exception

You have to understand, their idea of a great diplomat iis Hillary Clinton. They think war is diplomacy.

The criticism you’re referring to has overwhelming been about Trump literally praising the character of totalitarian leaders, not him being “too diplomatic”

The criticism is about Trump allegedly sullying American “credibility” by issuing generically positive statements about North Korea, which suggests people care more about preserving “credibility” (a nonsense concept to begin with) than decreasing tensions with hostile states

Well, it's not THAT weird in the context of the whole #Russiagate freak show. And don't forget what ol' Phil Ochs said: "...but when it comes to times like Korea, there's no one more red, white and blue!"pic.twitter.com/Kzp3HkabBL

One moment the Liberals complain about Trump being too tough (Little Rocket Man). The next moment they complain he is too conciliatory (KJU is excellent). I guess they long for the day long past when Obama just pretended North Korean threats are not real.Their logic is befuddling

Intellectual honesty and consistency is not their thing. They prefer blind tribal allegiance and group think coupled with moral relativism.

Democrats would prefer the death of tens of thousands of Asians to Trump having success in one area of his presidency.

Obama did the same thing with Castro on the road to normalizing relations with Cuba. Nixon did the same thing visiting and openingup China. We just have a #MSM with no memory or sense of history.

The fact that no one in the world has accused Trump of being “too diplomatic” might make it something less than a “trend.”
