Hi First, staff work over the summer, as do staff, summer school & masters. Reduced service is fair but not cancellation!

I thought saw sign saying tht a service would be cancelled but others like the 48A still run? I was a bit alarmed also. Staff work in summer

Yes, this has been discontinued for summer. This morning had to get up half hour earlier to get 48A. Hour & a half door 2 door & late 4 wrk

Just found out this morning. Pretty disappointed. Going to be a 2hr commute for me today.

Yes, we're all well aware of the replacement services. We spend long enough sitting on them.

Ha ha ha! Indeed. Desolate @ the bus stops these days. Cycle! If you aren't too far away. That's what I've had to do. Cheaper too.

Not an option if you travel from Knowle. Will try the trains next week, can't take much longer even if you factor in the extra walk...

Apparently 48a, 70, 71 and 72 still run. Journey time easily 30mins longer. I work in business park opp uwe, it's infuriating.

Agreed! Some days I start work at 3:30am and the last thing I need is an extra 30 minutes added to my journey home
