Pretty sure when they wrote the 2A they weren’t thinking about a dude showing up to a protest (1A) with 30 rounds already loaded in an automatic weapon since those weren’t even invented back then….

Kyle Rittenhouse went to a substantial amount of trouble to insert himself into a crowd carrying a semiautomatic weapon. Despite what his defenders would suggest, he wasn’t exactly “minding his own business”: ⬇️

Rittenhouse’s defenders focus on how THREATENED he felt, while deliberately yadda-yaddaing over the fact that he was not licensed to carry a gun & was openly carrying an AR-15 in a crowd 40 miles from his home.
