I'm a high school teacher, and I've had quite a few transgender students in my classes. Not all of them want hormones, but when those who do are able to finally get them, they are so relieved. Less anxious and more comfortable with themselves. Come talk to some!

I started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) at the age of 15, and let me tell you, in terms of mental health, it was the best antidepressant I could ask for. I'm now 21, still on HRT, and I'd likely be dead if not for HRT.
