Marjorie, I was mugged 3yrs ago. I guarantee 2 things if you’re armed in that situation:1. You wouldn’t be able to get to your gun fast enough to make a difference 2. You couldn’t control your adrenaline well enough to even get the safety off if you accomplished #1 let alone aim.
The “good person with a gun” is a fallacy. Why? Because someone always has to be shot/die to find out who the “bad guy” is. Unless, of course, a black or brown person owns a gun and they’re automatically assumed to be “bad.” GTFOHWTBS!

I live a short drive away from Dunblane. We don't have guns. We will never have guns. We don't want or need guns. Change your laws, change your country. It must be terrifying + incredibly detrimental to the mental health of the entire population to live with that fear.
