1. When I was in 11th grade in a gun free school zone, one of my school mates brought guns to school and took our school hostage. 2. We were trapped in our classrooms that day, scared and confused, not knowing who would protect us if the bad guy with the gun came to our classroom. We also knew that no where inside our school was a good guy with a gun to stop the bad guy with a gun..
3. Unlike you @davidhogg111 I walked out of my school that day, knowing that our God given guaranteed #2A right is our greatest freedom and I am determined to always protect our gun rights. Kids should be protected at school NOT left as unprotected targets.
4. While you @davidhogg111 foolishly build a career being a leader in the funded movement to steal our gun rights and hand the government power over the people, you should strongly consider a change of heart. Ask yourself a few questions;
5. How do the students in Venezuela, China, Hong Kong, and NK feel about the right to own guns? Do they wish their people had the #2A like we do, or do they agree with their socialist and communist governments? When you say students shouldn’t fear bullets,
6. does kids not fearing bullets include those bullets controlled by tyrannical governmen’s guns? What if the system had not failed so horribly that day at your school? What if a good guy with a gun had stopped the shooter, like so many times we have seen?
7. As a student, I learned that day having no good guy at my school to stop the bad guy with guns, and gun free school zones and gun control laws were not the answer, it was actually the problem. As a Mom, I’ve always struggled leaving my kids unprotected at school.
8. Murder has been around since the beginning of time. No amount of laws will stop it. More gun control laws only give the government more power over the people, take away people’s right to defend themselves, and cause more lives to be lost.
9. VA is in a state of emergency @davidhogg111 not bc of gun owners, but bc the government is taking away rights our founders guaranteed. And you are building a career helping to destroy our #1A by destroying our #2A. The 2nd protects the 1st.
10. So when @davidhogg111 @MomsDemand @Everytown and others claim #IStandWithVirginia they are actually standing with building tyrannical government control and working against the actual people of VA.
Not me.
