Preventing discrimination against transgender women isn't the same as putting men in women's sports. I dont think reasonable people would oppose non-discriminatory rules in sports, but that shouldn't sink a law to ban discrimination in various other areas unrelated to sports.
The irony of your statement coming from a man. Putting biological men in women’s sports and forcing women to compete with biological men destroys Title IX. It will also take opportunities away from female athletes who work so hard to earn them.
