Y’all ever heard of Admiral George Dewey? He’s my ancestor. He fought & won in Manila Bay against the enemy in 1898.pretty cool piece of genealogy.

Sure have. He’s a huge fixture in Naval History. His taking of the Philippines during the Spanish American War is little known to today’s kids. My father being retired Navy & myself retired Marines probably helped a bit.
