I'm at Target watching roommates happily shop for home decor together without squabbling. Roommates are the great love story of our generation.

I had to stop commuting by Caltrain when preggo because no one would give me a seat and I couldn't stand for an hour. People on laptops filled the priority seats and refused to move. Conductors wouldn't help. It sucked.

Planned Parenthood reiterated this week that under new HHS rules, it will stop participating in the Title X family planning program, which helps poor women afford birth control. Which is sad but logical: PP's clinics would have to stop providing and referring for abortions.

This fall marks the 20th anniversary of the wrongful conviction of Sally Clark. let me get on my Bayesian soapbox and rant about how the statistical argument that convicted her is also a cause of the replication crisis in science.

Sometimes I still feel sick remembering back to the Trump/Clinton debates, which she won landslide-style, except apparently there were people who did not think that? Debates are painful.
