4/ all of a sudden Siri on my watch, started talking at me, and I couldn’t stop it because I was driving. When I got to the red light, I looked down and Siri was typing into the text message box on the other side.

Today is the 20th anniversary of LinkedIn’s launch. @reidhoffman and cofounders blasted out invitations to all their friends to join their professional social network. No one knew what it was at the time, nor the juggernaut it would become. Nor how it would change my life…

This hasn’t been my experience. I think there are successful people of all types. Some who are motivated to serve others more than themselves. Driven to succeed not to let others down. Also some as outlined below who are self driven.

Great founder. Amazing product innovation. Perfect execution. Still use to this day. My big regret was not discovering it sooner. 👇🏼

What a great response from Giannis to every journalist who tries their hardest to frame everything with a negative lens

Giannis didn’t like this reporter's question on if he thinks this season was a failure.

There are few products I am as religious about as … literally changed my life. And got me to wake up and focus on the importance of high quality sleep (no, I’m not an investor, just a fan)

Quote from older gentleman sitting next to me at Detroit airport “Do not let the lion write the giraffe’s story” I like that as a more descriptive version of “history is written by the victors” (we were talking about Genghis Khan, as one does at an airport 😆)

This is true. Talk to any ex or current social media employee and they know exactly how verification is a social trade (and have been hit up multiple times for verification asks).

People in this #BlockTheBlue pressure campaign are losers and goons. They're the cool kids from junior high who worked to exclude we nerds from cool kid events, plus the losers who joined in to gain cred. The elite-only verification system sucked, been criticizing it since 2018. twitter.com/TimSweeneyEpic…

One of the hardest things about building Runway has just been being able to stay in the US. We are three immigrant founders. The amount of work we must do beyond building a company is insane. This is half of the documents for my last visa application. We can do better.

"America Is Holding Back Its Immigrant Entrepreneurs" 🗞️I wrote an article The Information on how America can unleash the entrepreneurial energy of scores of F1+H1B visa holders. ⛔ F1 & H1B visas kept me from starting a business for 13 years in the US. My journey is not unique.

I started my company 16 years, 3 months, and 5 days ago. Today, it went public. But let's rewind for a second... 5,939 days ago, I was a barista at a small cafe called @2percentJazz2, in Victoria, Canada. I made $6.50 an hour. Two guys, Chris and Jeff, started coming into… Show more

I can’t recommend “Beef” on Netflix highly enough. It’s deeply human, hilarious, sad, dark, artistic & so perfectly written and acted from start to end.

It takes time for a startup to find product market fit. In my experience, 1-4 years. Twitch took 5+ years to find it. And it's much easier to do this with a small team, low burn, and extreme focus.
