20 DAYS IN MARIUPOL has won Audience Award for World Cinema Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival. 🏆 I hope this film will not only generate awareness, but also serves as a permanent record of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the war crimes that happened in Mariupol.

The long-awaited Ukrainian premiere of “20 Days in Mariupol”. It was sad, anxious, but at the same time heartwarming event. Many of those who were with us in besieged Mariupol, who saved the lives of civilians and defended the city, stood with us in the cinema theatre.

"20 Days in Mariupol," is opening at the Film Forum in New York and select theaters across the US. Every step of this incredible journey has been hard but inspiring. It's a story of pain, but also resilience, compassion, and the indomitable Ukrainian spirit. #20daysinmariupol

I am honored and privileged to present the "20 Days In Mariupol" at CPH:DOX. It was a powerful experience to watch our film in a theater with a huge live audience, and it again reminded me of the importance of community in confronting trauma and tragedy.
