To the people in replies: because the rich do not pay their fair share of taxes, that burden is shifted to the middle classes. The government still wants the same amount of money, but are taking it all from the middle classes, who can't afford it as easily as upper classes.

I really don't know what the answer here is, but what I keep thinking is how many poor people didn't go to school so they wouldn't incur huge debt, and how screwed they would be if wealthier students end up getting a free pass
