Sorry to disappoint, but I've decided I don't hate Aristotle. I'm promoting him from a 6/10 philosopher to 8/10. I know this is very off brand for me, I realise it's somewhat distasteful to like a philosopher so beloved as The Philosopher, but here I stand; I can do no other.

My current best antidote is just to go back and reread literally anything he ever said about women, and, like, do the occasional comparison between how many teeth me and my partner have respectively.

I know. Perhaps we should just just embrace being philosophical iconoclasts and stop thinking of past philosophers as anything but civil servants of humanity, as Husserl put it.
