Here's your annual holiday reminder that food is not a moral failing. It's just food. It is ok to eat things you like. If you worry that eating something you like will make your ass fat, please send me the recipe and/or pictures of your fat ass.

Amnesty International called on Twitter to release a report detailing harassment of women on the platform. Twitter refused, so they did their own. 1 in every 10 tweets sent to Black women on Twitter is abusive in nature, for white women it’s 1 in every 15.

Also remember when Rumsfeld was buddies with Saddam Hussein? They shook hands and discussed U.S. oil and military interests in 1983. At the time the US was aware of Iraq's ambitions for nuclear weapons, but since Iraq aspired to use them on Iran... meh.

Cops can lie about what they’re investigating. DNA tests can go wrong due to lab errors, e.g. cross contamination. You don’t have to give DNA at a detective’s request. Not cooperating doesn’t mean you’re a bad citizen that thinks murder is ok. It means you know your rights.
