It’s a bizarre experience for all, but regardless a thoughtfully considered and brilliant review of a dazzling poet!

Whoa. Sigh. Jenny Xu (the editor) and I once joked that we should have a panel with all the literary Asian Jennys/Jennifers (Xie, Xie, Xu, Cheng, Chang, Tseng) so ppl can see once and for all we are each distinctive humans with distinctive bodies of work.

Sorry Jenny. You’re both brilliant writers!

@msjennyxie and @jennymxie We’re sorry for the error. The next issue includes this note and it’s corrected online: The illustration for Dan Chiasson’s “The Hungry I” (May 7th) shows a different writer named Jenny Xie, not the poet whose début collection, “Eye Level,” is reviewed.

Seems like you still owe @jennymxie an illustration though.

I know, write an article about @msjennyxie and illustrate it with @jennymxie. Its only fair.
