To clarify in the @theHouse_mag interview I was making clear that it is absolutely correct that all women are eligible for selection under All Women's Shortlists in @uklabour, which of course includes trans women.

Who said males are females? Trans women are women; all women are women. If you spent less time trying to divide women like this, and more time attacking Theresa May, Tories, the rape clause etc it’d be helpful to us all.

The simplest explanation is the correct one. Yes, I do wish I wasn't having to fight against women's representation being reduced, but here we are. Women are EITHER defined by gender-id or sex, can't be both. Pick a side.

I have no idea who you are, I'm afraid. Not quite true. Neither the LP or CLPD have decided whether the definition of woman is by gender or sex, altho naturally disapprove of prejudice toward either. Re penises: if telling the truth is uncomfortable, even more reason to say it.
