    I wish Tom Watson was not the Deputy . Not just because of his latest piece in the media , but because of his whole tenure as deputy . He’s not to be trusted at all . I personally feel labour and the membership deserve a deputy that will work their socks off to get us in power

    Unite members make policy... whether Len and the union enforces it or not is another matter. Unite used block vote last year to veto McDonnell amendment AND suggested abolition of word 'contemporary' from conference motions.

    Mandatory reselection anyone? It's official Unite policy... but McLuskey opposes it? Are we going to see a rule change on this? Unlikely imo. The CAC has ppl like Seema Chandwani who would rather die than see her blairite hero MP David Lammy deselected. Thoughts?

    Meanwhile our government does nothing about systematic abuses of women's human rights in Saudi Arabia.... aside from propping up and arming it's government...

    Any clothing a woman is forced to wear which hides both her beauty and her bruises should be banned and have no place in our liberal, progressive country. Shameful that countries like France and Denmark are way ahead of us on this.

    Tom Watson says Labour must adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism in full or "disappear into a vortex of eternal shame". He couldn't be more wrong. The IHRA definition as is stands discriminates against Palestinians. You don't oppose one form of racism by tolerating another.
