It takes courage to exercise your right to protest injustice, especially when you’re 11! Keep up the good work Mariana.https://twitter.com/nowthisnews/status/1029031825929162752 …

Forced patriotism is fascism. What makes it freedom is the ability to say no.
-
You are right. Leave America. If you don't pledge your loyalty, then get the hell out of my country
-
My loyalty is to Jesus Christ and my citizenship is the kingdom of heaven. However, that doesn't mean that I don't love America or that I'm not invested in making this a good place to live. As a child, I was taught that freedom is what makes America great.
-
Your loyalty is misplaced. Jesus was a Buddhist monk and was simply a holistic healer, schooled in ayurvedic science and healing. Jesus is not the son of God, because no God nor Gods govern mankind. That is completely delusional. Your loyalty should be towards yourself.
-
Lol. So either way, my primary loyalty isn't to a country or government. Thanks for the support. ;)

What an idiot, your talking about defending “Freedom” while at the same time demanding people to stand. Idiot, no discussion no debate!

The Constitution and the Supreme Court disagree with you. Why don't you love our freedoms? Why do you prefer authoritarianism?

Nonnegotiable is that it is my right to not stand for the National Anthem and it is my right to not stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Is that according to the constitution? How about freedom of expression? How about social and economic injustice? How about people marching with and flying a flag that is not America's? Truth and facts be told. Stop being fooled.

Someone needs to learn how the 1st amendment works.
@Scotus has already decided on this. Students’ 1st amendment right - which is one of the MANY being fought for - is PROTECTED in school. They CANNOT be forced to stand/salute/etc.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Wow, when did you become the boss of everyone? Get over yourself. A plea for social justice is a perfectly valid reason to kneel. Sorry you and Trump don’t like it, but that’s not the point.

Colin Kaepernick talked to VETS to find the most respectful way of protesting, and THEY suggested taking a knee.

Please provide this information. Otherwise I'll have to call B. S. on this.

You start dictating what people do and you end up with a dictatorship. Good luck.

You will honor our freedom to kneel in protest. End of discussion.

Wow! So much for freedom. Sorry. I’d rather live in a free country than one in which I had to stand for the anthem.

Countless men and women haven’t fought for anyone’s freedom since WW2 but yes please continue to spew the propaganda.
